Spring 2010 Extended Workshop
Exploring Double Weave on Four or More
with Fran Curran
April 19-20,2010

This workshop presents the opportunity to study the many possibilities offered by Double Weave.  Participants will examine the structure so that the interchange of layers is understood and also consider setts and fiber choices. In addition the many directions that Double Weave offers, such as blocks, double width cloth, integrated layers and color blending will be explored. The format of the class is a "round robin"; samples will be woven and assembled in a notebook for future reference.  Participants must be able to warp their looms and read a draft. Looms must be warped prior to class.
